The white coast of Spain is stunningly beautiful and full of contrasts. It has well kept golden beaches backed by green hills and citrus groves, with small coastal towns and fishing villages containing picturesque, whitewashed houses. A perfect destination due to its privileged location and the mildness of its climate, with an average year round temperature of 18° C. Benidorm, located about 45 km northeast of Alicante; just south of Altea is a main attraction along the Costa Blanca. Surrounded by up to 1558 m high mountains, Benidorm is perfectly protected against the sometimes cold north winds. Benidorm is a popular holiday resort with lots of day and nightlife along the lovely Playa Levante. Fast growing Torrevieja is becoming a second home to Irish tourists who are renting and purchasing in this area. Golf courses are in abundance and the famous La Manga Golf and Holiday Complex is easily accessible.
