Larnaca is the third largest city on Cyprus, and full of ancient relics to hunt out, as well as clear, clean water and sandy beaches on its coastline.
The food is traditional Cypriot, but with restaurants serving cosmopolitan food if you prefer.
Boat trips and watersports are available, so you can take a break from lazing on the beach if the urge takes you.
If dancing is your forte, then enjoy the many clubs on offer, or you can enjoy a slow meal along the palm tree lined marina, with a wonderful view over the sea.
